I was one of the guys who worked in the laundry.I remember putting too much heat on the officers schivvees in the dryer and oh did I hear about that,after Lt Cangelosi pulled his silk boxer shorts up around his chest. I left the Vreeland, after I attained the rank of Lithographer 3rd class and recieved orders to go to Atlantic Fleet Headquarters. I was a plank owner and one of the original crew.Thanks to all who served on her.
